New service, ‘Design Visualisation’ has proven to be a great success for design development consultancy Haughton Design.

Mid-2011 saw UK business confidence fall, companies were hesitant to invest in new product development. As a reaction to a cautious market Haughton Design launched their innovative new service ‘Design Visualisation,’ a low risk, cost-effective service which turns basic concepts into virtual images and animations. It enables clients to win internal support, judge market reaction or even generate promotional material to sell the product before manufacturing begins.

Haughton Design’s Managing Director, David Mills, has been thrilled by the success of the launch. “It is great to see such positive results from the new service and how it is helping to grow the company. Design Visualisation gives our clients the confidence to invest in further product development, and use our complete design development process to fully engineer concepts through to manufacture.”

Cultivating Solutions used the service to create realistic representations of their innovative new product, RapidLift, which debuted at The LAMMA show 2012. Managing Director Richard Scholes was delighted with Haughton Design’s service. “The team really brought my concept to life; many people at the show actually thought the machine existed! I was able to show prospective clients the finished machine, rather than technical drawings which people struggle to understand. Our exhibition was extremely successful it allowed me to sell the product and the rendered images provided by Haughton Design played a key role in this.”

Haughton Design’s development programme can then be used to fully engineer chosen concepts into fully functioning products.
